HTC launches ‘Legend’ in India
While Indians wait for monsoon to give them respite from the scorching summer, its raining Android phones in India. After Sony Ericsson and Motorola, HTC released ‘Legend’ in India, this so called successor to HTC Hero will come with Android 2.1 on board. The Legend will have a 3.2-inch, HVGA, capacitive touchscreen, and will be one of this company’s first with an AM-OLED display. Below this will be an optical trackpad.
It also has a faster processor than its predecessor — 600 MHz — with 256 MB of RAM and a microSD memory card slot for additional storage.
This HTC model will be a GSM phone with 3G mobile broadband, Wi-Fi b/g, and Bluetooth 2.1. This model will also sport a GPS receiver and an FM transmitter.
In addition, this smartphone will include a 5 megapixel camera, 1300 mAh battery, 3.5 mm headset jack, compass, and G-sensor.
The Legend is now available in India for about Rs 26,500 (we are still waiting for the official price).
