USB Cup Warmer

USB coffee warmerIf you’re a morning person this might just be the invention for you. With the USB Cup Warmer your coffee or tea will never go cold. All you have to do is plug the USB Cup Warmer in any desktop pc or laptop and put your cup in place and it will start to heat it up. I don`t actually know if you can heat it at a constant temperature for a period of time or not (it may come with additional software I guess).
No more trips from your desk to your kitchen to warm up your coffee and back again to your desk to work on your pc; but that`s not all the device acts like a hub for other USB devices. You can connect up to 4 devices to the hub.

The device can be purchased from chipchick.

Alarm Clock - Your worst nightmare

The SnuzNluz

The new SnuzNLuz alarm clock is works as a Wifi donation alarm clock and it’s connected to your bank account. Now put these together and….be afraid, be very afraid!!!

This clock, if you haven’t already figured that out, will make donation to the organization you hate the most every time you push the “snooze” button. So if you want to sleep more…it’s going to cost you. It has ethernet and Wifi and a browser based setup utility for connecting directly to your bank account. After that, you have to select your least favorite organization and set your alarm. The donation amount is 10$+(Be afraid!). The SnuzNLuz is on sale at ThinkGeek! Just if you are brave enough….

The multiple choice shocking game, a shocking game

Shocking device

In this game, up to 4 people can take part and play as follows:

You need a quiz master and up to 3 contestants(or victims :-p). All players hold a
controller(the blue controller is the master). The dice is thrown to determine which
question(multiple choice) is to be asked by the master from the first question card.

After reading the question, the quiz master will select the correct answer using the slide
switch and will then press the start button, That gives the contestants 7 seconds to select the correct answer on their controller. If you answer corectly, you can breathe a sigh of relief, but if you don’t…you are going to be “shocked”.

I don’t know if I would trust any of my palls to be the master because it seems so easy to
cheat. The shocking game is currently on sale at Don’t Do

The Brand New X-Box 360

Washable Keyboard Technology

Washable Keyboard

The keyboard is maybe one of the most dirty objects in the house. Greasy fingers, food, pieces of skin and and not being clean can make this accessory a “bacterial bomb”. The only way to clean the surface of the keyboard is to take out each key, individually clean it, then reassemble it. At this point, each one of us starts to think about buying a new one…But Unotron gives a solution: the new Washable Keyboard.

If we are to use water or any other type of liquid to clean the keyboard….well, the damage would be permanent. But the Washable Keyboard has SpillSeal technology that protects it from liquids and makes it easy to wash even in the tap water from your sink.

Unotron also produces a washable mouse and the Smartcard reader, two PC accessories that aren’t as filthy as the keyboard but sometimes need to be washed as well…

Digital Locket by Kodak with LCD screen

Kodak Digital CameraRemember the old picture lockets that your mother or grandmother wore? Well, if you look in the picture you may think that’s exactly what you’re seeing, but oh, you are so sadly mistaking. What you are really looking at is Kodak’s latest development, digital camera in shape of an antique locket designed by non other then Lindsey Picket.

After designing a cell phone for Samsung Global Sponsorship in 2005, it seems like Picket as switched sides and designed this fabulous device for Kodak..

Actually, the 1881 as they called the camera works on the same principle as grandma’s locket worked: saving and preserving the pictures you love. The difference is that now you see them on an LCD screen at an amazing accuracy. But that’s such a “tiny” difference, isn’t it?

You can take a photo, either while the locket is closed or, watch it as you take it, to make sure the positioning is correct, on the LCD screen

So now you can get both a camera and a piece of jewelry in one package. Well, I’m not complaining but still, I wonder what they’ll think of next.

SciFi Chair ...wow ..

the SciFi ChairAfter the development of gaming chairs that move according to the games action and computer beds designed so that you end up being a “computer potato” and never see anything else weather you’re awake or sleeping, now G-Tech Neber releases a chair that confirms the theory that sitting correctly on a chair is so overrated.

This new SciFi chair is at present on show in Korea. The design includes so much chrome, that it actually looks like one of those Matrix chairs - you don’t have to take the blue pill.

The company says that, giving so much support to the back, head, hands, wrists, back and feet, the chair is completely ergonomical. Also, having the curved back, the chair gives you the opportunity to seat in any position you want. Just look at the picture, it looks so cool!

Lexon LCD E8 Wall Clock

Lexon LCDNow, cover half of the picture posted and try to figure out what the first clock is saying. Well, it says that the time is 12:59, how do I know that? Every column represents a number, the number of squares lighten up on each column tells you what how many minutes or hours have passed. Brought to you by Lexton, this Wall Clock has also a smaller brother, in the form of a wrist watch that has the same confusing time-telling way.

You can keep this clock on its very own built-in stand on your living-room wall and in the mean time have fun watching the confused faces of your visitors trying to figure out just what’s the time. You can buy the Lexon LCD Wall Clock for only 203$. Small price to pay for the laughs you’ll have.

S3000, A6000 & M8000 Pavilion Slimline by HP

Three new models of desktop PC series have been launched into the market by HP. The three models of the Pavilion Slimline series are s3000, a6000 and m8000. The first one comes with 1GB of RAM, and you can pick either a AMD CPU or an Intel CPU, but for the later you have to pay an extra 50$. If not you can buy it for 500$. The PC can be set with a low graphic card, maybe a TV tuner and a Pocket Media Drive.

You can buy the a6000 at a lower price then the s3000. It’s just 330$ but you would be throwing off some memory because it has only 512 MB of RAM. But the bright side is that it comes with an Intel CPU, a Pocket Media Drive and a graphics card. But the “jewel of the crown” is the m8000. And the price says so to. At 950$ it has a DVD drive and again you can pick between a dual core AMD or Intel processor. All three models have Windows Vista preinstalled.

iPhone and kin to go Solar?

iPhone_solar.jpg Going by the news brought to us by Tradethenews.com, Apple has been filing patent for portable devices that have solar cells placed on them. Translated to layman terms, it means iPhone or other devices could have photovoltaic cells placed underneath LCD touch screens, thus maxing the area available for harnessing solar energy. Apparently, the performance info regarding the performance of a device's solar cells could be displayed on the main screen next to battery power, or speculation suggests that the info could be relayed top of the actual cells, which could be displaying the Apple logo.

World smallest phone

02.jpg
We have seen the race for the slimmest phone with entrants from Motorola, Samsung and NEC though the war still wages on, here we have the world's smallest phone and surely it is going to be there for quite some time. The Xun Chi 138 is a GSM with bar form factor it measures only 67 mm (2.64 inches) in length a bit longer than the AA battery and weighs only 55 grams. If you thought this was impressive I am sure you will be blown away when you check out what this baby packs inside. As with the tiny size it is impossible for a keypad so the Xun Chi 138 has touchscreen with handwriting recognition and support for 260k colors. The manufacturer has still found space to squeeze in a 1.3 Megapixel camera (actually VGA but interpolated to 1.3 Megapixel), USB port, WAP, GPRS, MP3 player and 138 MB of onboard memory. Maybe the next model will have a Mini SD card slot and Bluetooth.

The Xun Chi 138 is more like a chic phone as it comes in pink color. The stylus neatly fits at the back of the phone. Dont expect the phone to hit the West anytime soon as the Xun Chi 138 supports only Chinese character recognition for now.
